Need to scale in seconds because someone posted an advertisement of your company website?
Bare metal: Quickly login to already setup VMs that are just turned of to save cost. But if we turned on all of them and can't handle the load we need to rent more VMs quickly! 🤔
Cloud: Wait what, we already scaled to 10 pods? That's going to cost us a fortune! At least we can handle the load 🤔

But to be fair, Cloud has advantages and disadvantages. For one: for most of them you need a Credit Card. In the Netherlands we almost only use Debit Cards.
So I cannot use the cloud (unless it has a free tier) or iDeal personally 😢
