Another week, another newsletter. Let’s get to it!

A great read from Chris Coyier on command bars making their way to the web. I love command bars. I was a big fan of Alfred but have since moved on to Raycast. Command bars everywhere! They’re in browser dev tools and even in my browser of choice these days!

Rachel Andrew has a new resource to learn all about images up on web.dev. Images have never been my strong suit, so this is definitely something I’m going to check out.
Today we have launched Learn Images! In our newest course learn about image formats, compression, responsive images, and performance.

The TypeScript 5.0 beta has dropped with lots of goodness. Matt Pocock breaks it down for us.

– Mark Twain i.e. stop putting off that blog post, that whatever you can’t seem to start and JFDI! Brandon Roberts, Senior Software Engineer at OpenSauced, joined me on my Twitch stream to discuss Angular, NgRx, Analog & Open Source! We loaded up an app with Analog, and demonstrated some of it’s capabilities such as static site generation (SSG) and server side rendering (SSR). It’s now up on YouTube. Don’t forget to like and subscribe. 😎 Thanks again for hanging Brandon! I’m also excited to announce that I will be giving a talk on Fresh, a full stack web framework for Deno for Node Congress 2023! And finally, Chantastic and the Storybook team did an awesome thing. They took the Twitch stream I did with Chan and made a YouTube short on their channel. I love it! Go hit that like button on it and if you’re not yet subscribed to the Storybook YouTube channel, smash that Subscribe button! I post jobs in the iamdeveloper.com community, plus all other kinds of content, as do others. If you’re looking for another friendly nook of the internet, head over to discord.iamdeveloper.com. If you liked this newsletter, you can subscribe or if RSS is your jam, you can also subscribe via RSS.
