To me, dance music means dancing to a great basslines. My kind of music is any genre that has great basslines in it, so this time is my kind of edition 🤫
First entry speaks for its name. D.A.N.C.E by Justice
one of my favorite music composer of all time daft punk. 'Random Access Memories' is my favorite album of all time.
Parcels is a kind of daft punk successor to me, plus they're band having actual vocalists and have Bee Gees feels, but it's a band!
Many great electronic dance music came from french. Daft punk, Justice, and L'Impératrice is the new one in this decade.
PREP is a soul/funk band with danceable music. fit for slow dancing.
and more to listen

Oh hell yeah! This is your time to shine, haha! You def got an ear for bassy dance tunes!
Damnnnn, so many good ones in here. I'm only through the first 3 suggestions and loving each one. Parcels is a new one for me! This is right up my funky alley, haha.
I'm gonna keep making my way through'em.
Also, good note on the French consistently bringing us great dance music... very true!
Daft punk ❤️🕺
Omg I looooove Montreal, that song was my jam like 3 years ago when I was in university - perfect late night study tune to keep you motivated and awake!
Similar bassy dreamy track I really love that's kind of in the same space as Montreal
Hey! I'm attending their gig in Jakarta this March. Of course I know this famous indie-pop band 😄
Enjoy!!! Just saw them live in New York last August, they were absolutely fantastic 😎
Been listening to these guys (Pnau) for some 7 years now and just can’t have enough of their music 🔥 this EP they released with Elton John is also really good 👌
I'd never listened to PNAU before that Elton John, Dua Lipa, PNAU collab/remix (which was absolutely fantastic) and didn't realize they had a whole EP with Elton John! Listening to it right now though and it's fantastic - great rec!
I just listen to the remix about months ago, the bass sure makes me want to dance.
You should check Empire of the Sun too - they’re one of Nick Littlemore’s side projects. Really lit too 👌 I think Peter Mayes (1/3 of Pnau) produces their albums too.
I was just about to say that. Their first is my favorite, still as fresh as it was 15 years ago. I also warmed up to their single released between the 1st and the 2nd album
Wow, how did I miss this one! Never listened to PNAU before but I'm loving this tune that Maciek just dopped. So awesomely strange!
One of my favorites of all time! 🤩
Classic! Gasolina definitely makes me wanna dance!
💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽
Currently listening to some RATM
Rock on! 🎸 I assume your dance move of choice here would be hardcore head bobbin' eh?
Dance Behind The Desk!
Wow, this is awesome!! Thus far, I've only really tuned into the band Mooner, but they rock! At first with "Indo" I figured this was gonna be more traditional music (though I also enjoyed the track) but once I got into it, I realized it was definitely modern. I'm digging the tune "Renjana" ... I'll have to listen to the others when I have more time.
It's traditional music combined... the founder of Mooner is Rekti Yoewono he is Vocal of Band called The S.I.G.I.T. (The Super Insurgent Group of Intemperance Talent, often stylized as The SIGIT) Hard rock · garage rock · blues rock · psychedelic rock.
BTW the traditional element is Dangdut and Sundanese Traditional Music. And the last is the word "Renjana" mean "Emotion/Passion"
Here's mine
I have always been a fan of the SLAM FM boomroom style music, lets see if SoundCloud works 🤗
THE music to listen to while working on cascading style sheets:
Definitely been on a house-ish kick lately (so recent that I haven't thought of a good name for my playlist yet)
Two tracks in particular that I've had on repeat are remixes of songs I reaaaaaally cherish otherwise and have been in love with their remixes:
Dance you say.
