- Saturday : Did another show from my van. Went smoothly. I added another light to my van so that I can see my work area better when it gets dark. Got all the work after the show to get it ready for podcasts. Did some research on some properties. Finished the night watching an episode of "Rurouni Kenshin". Sunday : Didn't do my study sessions because there was a staff meeting at the radio station. I did get some work done on my side project. I added authentication for the admin section using Appwrite. Went pretty smoothly. Got to also use nanostores. Now I'm able to enter my credentials, check them to make sure they are right and then go through the process of authenticating the user. And depending on what happens, it may or may not show the dashboard. Also worked on some financial stuff.
Professional : Today went by way too quickly! Had a meeting with my manager. We caught up on some things. I got to demo an application I made. I worked and they liked it. Worked a little on a new Web Component, but mostly spent the day figuring out how to answer a question of the community. I think I'm almost there. Had to do a lot of iterations to get to where I am. Definitely went through some black holes to get there. haha
Personal : Made some progress with my current side project. Especially for doing everything strictly on the web. I'm not doing anything locally on my machine. I did run into an issue where I created a branch to work on adding a feature and whenever I loaded the page again, it would default to the main branch and files wouldn't be there because they are on the other branch. I guess I can understand that.
Speaking of my side project, now that I can get the dashboard to show up once I log in, I want to start adding some functionality like adding and editing events. I've been looking into KV to maybe store the details for the events. They are supposed to be distributed all over so they can be closer to the user, so it will be faster. I won't be changing / adding events often so I don't think I'll have to worry about things going out to sync or stale. I just need the info to load quickly. I'll probably create a branch and test some things out. Also want to go through some tracks for the radio show. Do some financial stuff and look at some land. The end the night watching "Rurouni Kenshin".
