Happy Friday, friends! 🎉

It's been another great week of content on DEV, and I'm wondering: who's your favorite author to follow here on DEV lately, and why?

Formatting tip: to populate a card with a follow button, use the liquid tag syntax {% embed https://... %} and insert the URL of your favorite author's profile.

Join in on the #FollowFriday fun by @ tagging another community member who you think is worth a follow (and why you love their posts!) ⤵️

I'll go first — despite not being a developer myself, I read a TON of DEV content every day. I always love reading new posts from...

If you're a frequent GitHub user (and I know you are), you gotta follow @blackgirlbytes! Rizèl is a Developer Advocate at GitHub and shares a ton of super helpful tips, tutorials, and updates. 🥑

@abbeyperini shares friendly, easy-to-follow, a11y-centric web dev content (and the occasional knitting metaphor). What more could you ask for?! 🧶

@sloan is a must-follow here on DEV! Sloan posts anonymous questions submitted by community members who aren't ready to ask their ask out loud. (Psst — if that's you, submit a question for Sloan via email at 🦥💚

It's not often I laugh out loud at something programming-related, and it's not often that I enjoy something that's almost exclusively video-based, but I'll tell you what,

is worth a sub. I found their accout from a post about making "stupid" apps, thought, "oh here we go...", and dove in expecting it to be all, I don't know, unfunny. It's not. Do yourself a favour and check them out :)
