The word of the day for divtober is "loud." This required a demo with that extra push over the cliff, so I brought it up "one louder" to 11 with this volume knob:
It was developed using an input range as a base, so it is a bit interactive (but results may vary).
Firefox doesn't support pseudo-elements in inputs, so it will miss the "volume" label. It could be fixed by avoiding the pseudo-elements and making the input larger and using radial-gradients instead of box-shadows.
