What are your goals for week 45 of 2024?

It's week 45 of 2024. HacktoberFest is over. In the US election day is Tuesday. In some places schools are closed cause schools are used for polling places. It's not always been like that here.
Here it began during the Pandemic to reduce the number of people in the building. When I was in school they set up voting booths in the gym and students got to see them before election day. On election day the gym was off limits but we could see voters entering and leaving the gym. The election will keep people up late Tuesday night.

Also the US just set our clocks back an hour. So coworkers may be at odd hours till they adjust.

• Run a goal setting thread on Virtual Coffee(VC) Slack.
• Virtual Coffee Challenge. This is our blogging challenge. As a group we are aiming to write 50,000 words this month. I wrote about it in the Virtual Coffee DEV group.
  • Personal goal is to beat my word count from last year. Count to beat is 5,517.
• Pack for short trip

How I did last week.

• Job search,
  • I did a phone screening, hoping to hear about next steps early this week.
  • Had an inquiry for my resume from an agency, but they are waiting for a job description from the client. I think they may just be collecting resumes.
• Attended virtual GitHub Universe.
• Blogged about Virtual Coffee's Writing Challenge, also blogged about HacktoberFest. Find links to both in this post.
• Took trip to an art festival and worked on pictures from it.
