What are your goals for the week?

What are your goals for this week?

It's a short week for many in the US. Plus it's the start of Summer break for my son. We spent the weekend at the Renaissance Faire and now need catch up on stuff.

  • What are you building?
  • What will be a good result by week's end?
  • Are you attending any events this week?
  • Did you meet your goals last week?

I'll start with how I did last week.

Last Week's Goals

  • [✅] Continue Job Search.
  • [❌] Coffee chat with a recruiter. Postponed. The recruiter was unfortunately caught in some recent layoffs and lost access to his calendar and company Zoom. We had planned a general catch up meeting. Now we need to reschedule it.
  • [❌] Blog.
  • [❌] Code Challenges/Project work.
  • [✅] Process more photos add them to a site.
  • Events
    • [❌] Attend Virtual Coffee Thursday. Last day of my son's school, It's a half day so I can only catch the start.
    • Other VC events if I can.
  • [✅] Make some signage for some prints in an artist booth.

This Week's Goals

  • Continue Job Search.
  • Blog
  • Code Challenges/Project work
  • Process more photos and add them to a site.
  • Events
    • Attend Virtual Coffee Thursday.
    • Other VC events if I can.
  • Organize Office

I'm working on getting more active in my blog and publishing weekly, so that'll take up a good chunk of my time if I'm going for quality.

Besides from that, I'm working my way through summer classes (Java!) and working at my part-time job. Should be a busy week, but a great one nonetheless.

Here's to getting stuff done lol

My goals for this week is to do some more studying for my Linux+ cert and do some planning on what I'm gonna do when my current contract at my job ends.

Other than that, nothing special.

Doesn't have to be special. It sounds like your are making progress.
