Hi!
Hello
Hey everyone, I'm from Kazakhstan, developing computer vision applications and some related things, happy to be here. Stay healthy.
Computer vision applications seems like a nice mix of advanced, rewarding, and hot tech.
I totally agree Waylon! It is such a special field within computer science!

My name is HAP and I'm new to the community. I've decided to join to learn and share programming ideas, tips and tricks.
A bit about me:
I've had ~18 years in C, ~10 in python, and 25+ in RDBMS and 20 with Linux. So I'm old :)
I'm also into movies, manga and anime.
Tron (1982) changed my life.
Glad to meet you all.
That's a lot of experience, awesome!
A big "What's up?" to everyone. My name is Alan and I'm from Winnebago, IL and originally from Evansville, IN. Long time web dev and grandpa to four darlings!

Django & React
Welcome! 👋
Django + React is my favorite stack so far.
Hi DEV community, my name's Dave from Derby, UK. I'm new to modern coding, started on Basic, dbaseIV, Foxpro back in the 80's (anyone remember those?). Been in IT all my working career but it diverted to Admin/Config/Support type roles (not complaining, it payed the bills).
Been taking HTML/CSS, Javascript, React courses on an off for last couple of years but need to commit to it fully now.
Hi 👋,
I’m a senior high school student from New Delhi, India and I want to pursue deep learning in my higher education. I spent the last 2 years studying Machine Learning having completed multiple specialisations from deeplearning.ai, Google, IBM, Imperial College London and many other courses (ALL CERTIFICATES ON MY WEBSITE). Before that I’ve worked as a Front End Developer with 6 months of internship experience in a leading educational startup. I also have a tech firm which I started with a couple of friends and we take industry projects for App and Web development. I’ve also worked a lot with IoT and Robotics having won multiple hackathon’s and representing my projects in the National Science Fair consecutively for 2 years. Two of my projects on Fake News Classification and Regression Analysis of Primary Biliary Cirrhosis are currently being mentored by Intel under the AI 4 Youth program.
I hope to pursue my Bachelors ( Hopefully with integrated masters ) from the United Kingdom. I’ve applied and already gotten an offer from the university of Birmingham, hoping to get into University of Edinburgh and Oxford as well. (Fingers Crossed).
I’m currently working on NLP with attention to the Reformer Architecture (Put a 👍 if you get the reference 😂) and Self-Supervised Representation Learning.
Here, are my socials:

PS: Please check out this kaggle kernel, where I’ve tried to use the Reformer model for NER, using the Trax library. It’s the only kernel on kaggle using the Reformer model for any sort of analysis. Thank You. Excited to connect with such experience industry leaders.
Hello Saurav !

Hello! I'm pretty new to this and I don't quite know what I want to do yet. So far I really only know HTML and CSS, but I'm here to learn!
You came to the right place and welcome to DEV!
Hey guys! I dropped out of college where I was studying computer engineering a few years ago, it was too much for me. But now I've finally decided to put all my focus into becoming a self taught developer. I've started with The Odin Project learning javascript and last week I got accepted into a government sponsored program where I will be learning java for the next 6 months and have a internship lined up already.
This seems like a community of like minded individuals who like working with technology thats why I joined!

Hello everybody,
I am not affraid to say, I am coder. In fact, am proud of it.
Through out my dev life I heard lots of opinions on my profession in range from "This can do trained monkey, do you know anything else" up to "It is not programming it is magic."
Second part was kind of defining for me.
I base my work on research and I am trying to be the best in profession I do.
One day my college yelled: "This is not programming, this is f*cking magic."
He was speaking about some styles on page.
I just answered: "Well, I always wanted to be wizard."
I wrote it in to my CV and it sticked.
So....
Hello. I am wizard and am passionate CSS coder.
Nice to meet you all.
