Hey Kamil, thanks for sharing!
However, you may want to publish job offers on the listing (especially the jobs one) to keep relevant the feeds of the tags you mention for the others

Hi Pierre,
I was thinking about that, but it won't work because of two reasons. Listings are very limited, only 400 characters max. And to post the listing it takes points, which will run out quickly.
As for the tags, I add a specific tag only if there is a job on the list which could be interesting for people following it.
I want to structure my post to make it easier to read, maybe grouping jobs under front end, back end, devops etc could help... What do you think?

I understand your position on this, it may only be my point of view about what tags are supposed to be but I see it more like a feed of blog articles from various users.

Job advertising might not be what developers are looking for, beside, the fact that there is a dedicated listing section and the terms and conditions might point to the same thing:

Users must make a good-faith effort to share content that is on-topic, of high-quality, and is not designed primarily for the purposes of promotion or creating backlinks.

I do not say that those are low quality posts, they just might not be in the right place what about publishing several posts in the listing by grouping them by stack to keep them relevant ? (ex: a post for C# jobs containing two of your links, one for React with the other relevant links, etc.)

The idea about making posts more relevant to stack is not bad, and I think I will do it that way next time. I still think my post format doesn't fit listing. Even if I cut out half of it, it won't fit in the listing (it fits only 60-100 words). There are a few other disadvantages of listings, like no reactions and no comments.

Hey Kamil,

I'm a Community Manager here at DEV!

We can totally understand your point of view here and will take this feedback into account.

Going forward, if you're planning to share open positions, please do so under #hiring... this is our tag dedicated to companies that are hiring. I realize you aren't just hiring for a solo company, but I still think this would be the ideal tag to reach for. Please avoid using other subject matter tags, as I do think folks browsing content under these tags are expecting tutorials, editorial, etc. and not posts promoting jobs.

Please understand that you still might receive messages from mods asking you to use listings as this is how we've directed these folks to manage these sorts of promotional posts, but ultimately, I can understand why you are sharing these the way you are and you can continue to do so under #hiring.

Let me know if you have any questions or further feedback.
