Hi this is a good breakdown, while I feel there are overlaps between the two such as coding techniques, Game development has a stronger creative aspect.
Also game software is generally one time use unless you make live service games.
Career wise is spot on Game Dev is quite niche while Web Dev have quite a lot of job opportunities.
