How AI is Transforming User Experience

In my previous article, I introduced HyperUX, an open-source project designed to revolutionise user experiences in fintech with AI-driven personalisation. Today, I want to dive deeper into the technology behind HyperUX and how we're leveraging AI to create more personalised and intuitive user interactions.

The Role of AI in HyperUX

At the heart of HyperUX is the use of AI, particularly major LLMs like GPT-4o, Claude 3.5 Sonnet. These models help us understand how users interact with apps, allowing HyperUX to adapt and respond in real-time to create a smoother, more personalised experience. As the project evolves, there’s potential to explore even more advanced AI techniques to make user experiences even better.

How HyperUX Handles Data

To personalise the user experience, HyperUX collects various types of data:

  • User Interaction Data: Things like clicks, navigation paths, and time spent on different sections of the app.
  • Transactional Data: Insights into how users manage their finances.
  • Contextual Data: Information like the user’s location, device type, and time of day.

Processing all this data quickly is crucial. HyperUX uses real-time data processing to ensure that the app can adapt instantly, keeping the experience smooth and responsive.

Real-Time Adaptation in HyperUX

One of the coolest features of HyperUX is its ability to change the user interface in real-time. This is made possible by a combination of small, independent services that work together to handle events as they happen. This setup not only keeps things running efficiently but also makes it easier to add new features down the line.

What’s Next?

HyperUX is still in its early stages, and there's a lot more to explore. Whether you’re interested in contributing or just curious about how it works, I hope this gives you a good overview of what we’re doing with AI to improve user experiences.

The idea of making apps change themselves based on what you do is wild. I'm really curious how you're keeping everything safe and private while being so smart.
