If I thought they might be interested in it, for sure. It can be an interesting and creative career. It's not for everyone though so I wouldn't push it of course. Software Developer is just one possible choice of many interesting and fulfilling things to do.
No, i don't want to influence him in anyway. Now whatever path he chooses, i would of course support him through his journey the best i can.
