Where there is no challenge, there is absolutely no progress by Eric Thomas
works as my favorite quote!!!
It has been so far three weeks since I started my internship journey and the tasks I have been working on are going through Adoptium infrastructure codebase, documentation, specification learning and working on the issues I have on my issue board.
And with the help of my mentors Scot and Haroon, we have identified a chronological way for me to implement my tasks
**Where the struggle comes in**
Working on my first task has seen me going back to revise the dictionary data structures and some concepts of the python programming language
Ideally I say that it hasn't been a struggle, but rather a rewarding challenge to replenish and expand my skill sets.
In the first three weeks, I have been able to set the stage for the upcoming tasks. Hoping that I should be able to utilize the base built in these first weeks to be more efficient and relaxed in the upcoming weeks.
**Best Tip**
I'd say that breaking a task down into simpler manageable chunks, having a routine, being disciplined, and, most importantly, keeping in touch with my mentors has made the internship easier. Their advice on how to handle tasks has made it much easier for me to complete them, for which I am grateful.
