It's been over two years since I was a part of Scarlet Data Studio. As this year comes to a close, I'd like to take this time to reflect back on these past two years and take a look at my career flow. A lot has changed and in that time, I had to take care of family, went back to school and even became a STEM instructor for a Non-for-profit organization in which I had the chance to get into robotics again! (I will talk more about robotics later).
According to Coursera,
Back-end development means working on server-side software, which focuses on everything you can't see on a website. Back-end developers ensure the website performs correctly, focusing on databases, back-end logic, application programming interface (APIs), architecture, and servers.
It includes all the code needed to build out the database, server, and application. From database migrations to API integrations to setting up the server-side technologies that make a website tick. The โtraditionalโ back end is a mix of the server, databases, APIs, and operating systems that power an appโs front end.
Knowing this, this sounds very exciting to me which is why I would like to return to developing and further advance my career.
