Format Text or Characters as Superscript:

If you want to apply a superscript format for your input text or characters, then follow the below steps.
- You need to select a cell that contains text or character to apply superscript format.
- On the Kutools Tab, select the Format option, choose the Superscript/Subscript option from the drop-down list.
- Now, it will display the Superscript/Subscript Formatting Dialog Box.
- In that dialog box, you can see that all the contents of the selected cell will be displayed in the box.
- You need to click one character that you want to format and click the Superscript option under the Char 3 section.
- You can also apply the formatting attributes such as bold, italic, font size, and the case for the input characters.
- After formatting one character, repeat the above four steps to continue formatting other characters.
- Then, click the OK button.
- At last, you can get the result as shown in the below screenshot.
Steps to Format Text or Characters as Subscript:
To format input values as a subscript, please follow the below steps.
- You need to select a cell that you want to format as a subscript.
- Go to the Kutools Tab, select the Format option, choose the Superscript/Subscript option from the drop-down list.
- Now, it will open the Superscript/Subscript Formatting Dialog Box.
- In that dialog box, you can see that all the contents of the selected cell will be displayed in the box.
- You need to click one character that you want to format and click the Subscript option under the Char 3 section.
- You can also apply the formatting attributes such as bold, italic, font size, and the case for the input characters.
- After formatting one character, repeat the above four steps to continue formatting other characters.
- Then, hit the OK button.
- Finally, you can see that the characters that you specified have been formatted as subscript as shown in the below image.
Note:
- You can also check the In-cell preview option to see the effect instantly without clicking the OK button.
- If the selected cell contains a formula, this operation cannot be used.
