Professional : Had no meetings today. Got to refactor an application to solidify what I thought would happen. I just wanted to verify because that means that I'll for sure have to check for certain things regardless. Better to be on the safe side. Followed up on some community questions. Created a new repository for a set of Web Components that I'm building. I'm thinking I'm going to update to the latest framework and see how that works out. The syntax is a little different, but not too much that it'll be a blocker. I have POCs of the Web Components already done so it should be just copy and paste from that and check for any errors. I've also been thinking about how I want to provide styles for this new set. So yeah, not a bad day.
Personal : Yo!!! Last night, I was able to get the GitHub log in working in my proof of concept! This was the first time I used this library AND a new database. Had a couple of snags but I was able to get it working. Now, the library is using an older version of the database, but it seems to be working so far. I'll wait a couple of days to see if it gets updated otherwise I may dive into the source code and see what I can do. I got it working and now I'm going to move on to the next task. I also went through some tracks for the radio show and watched a couple of "Extraordinary" episodes before calling it a night.
So I'm going to work on setting up the pipeline to deploy my new side project. If I can get the basic demo application deployed, I'm going to start implementing the smaller POC's into the project little by little and refine some things and fix any issues. I'll see how far I get. Will definitely end the night watching some "Extraordinary" episodes. That show is pretty hilarious! haha
