- Saturday : Super full day! For the first half, I attended DevFest Florida Conference. I was asked to record some talks so I brought my camera. I set up to start recording the Welcome and Keynote and didn't really have any problems. I cleared off all the files on the camera's SD card and there were quite a few that were over an hour long. I thought that I could record the talks in 1080p and be fine. Nope! haha The Welcome and Keynote by themselves were over 10GB! The card that came with the camera is only 16GB. haha Plus for whatever reason the files were split up into about 28 minute segments. There would be no time to download the files off the SD card between talks. I figured the best thing to do was to just do private stream to YouTube and download them later. That worked well. I recorded three talks but then had to leave to do the radio show. Some really good presentations. I left my camera there so that they could keep recording the talks.
I headed to the station to do the radio show. I was pretty tired, but my co-host made it to the show and that helped. Had a really good time! You can check out the show at https://kNOwBETTERHIPHOP.com
After the show, I went back to the Conference for the After Party and to get my camera. Got to hang out with the organizers and some other volunteers.
Sunday : Since I went to the After Party right after the show, I had to finish my post radio show work on Sunday. If I don't do it after the show, it takes me a long time to get it done. haha. Besides that, I did some coding and watched some anime. It got pretty cold outside and I couldn't really get moving. haha
Professional : Spent the day working on a Master Plan. haha I wrote up a document detailing about 10 different application ideas I want to create. Put in what would be involved and how I think we can use it (in presentations, demos, documentation, etc). Also got to do some coding on my current project.
Personal : Downloading all the footage from the conference and uploading them to a folder so that I can share it with the organizers so they can have them. Taking quite a bit of time. For my side project, I've got some event listeners working so now I can hook into them and have things react when I need them to. Also, my card got charged for the Google Stadia that I pre-ordered back in June. Been watching some reviews. I knew there would be some bugs in the beginning and I don't really play video games, but I wanted to support technology that I think is really cool. The store's website says I should be receiving it this week. Looking forward to playing with it (when I get time, haha)
For the rest of the night, going to continue working on my side project. Maybe go though some tracks for this week's radio show and catch up on some anime I didn't get to yesterday.
