- Saturday : Started to plan out how I want my work area to be set up. It's a small space so I want if to be multi-functional. Things will slide and flip. Then it was time to do the radio show. Had a really good time. Afterwards, I did all the post-show promo work. I wanted to make sure I didn't have to worry about it on Sunday. Sunday : Pretty much didn't do anything I planned to do. haha It was storming pretty hard and made me sleepy. haha. I did do my laundry. Wrote up the script for my presentation this week. Watched an anime, "Fear the Walking Dead", and "Gangs of London".
Professional : Since my presentation won't be live, I made a small application that will have my slides, show my webcam and display my script as I go through my slides. If I were doing it live, I would have Speech Recognition as a type of closed caption. Do it this way, I can just record my screen and not have to worry about adding closed captions later. Had a meeting with my manager to talk about things coming up. Spent the rest of the day working on the slides for my presentation. Don't know why this is taking me so long. I have have it all laid out. Just have to actually make them. haha.
Personal : I forgot to mention that I created a temporary logo for my new side project of the weekend. Also made a decision to move the push notifications to another part of the site so I can keep the front page as fast as possible. I think the project is coming along. I want to have the front page with a countdown to the live event and the ability to get a push notification when the event happens.
Going to finish up my slides. I thought I was going to do the recording today, but I don't think that's going to happen. I'm a mere mortal. haha Once that's done, I want to work on my side project and watch an anime. Yeah, that sounds good.
