Sunday : Pretty hectic day. I was asked to take part in a project and submit something. I had the option to do a video or write up answers to a set of questions. I wanted to take the opportunity to try out the new video and microphone equipment I got over Black Friday / Cyber Monday. Of course I had huge aspirations for the video! Considering it was my first time using the equipment, I ran into some issues but I worked through it. The video files were HUGE so that took some time to transfer, edit, process and render. I left it rendering overnight. Even with all that happening, the video came out pretty close to what I had envisioned. So it's all good.
Professional : Got up early to see how the video rendered. Came out pretty good. Just needed to apply a couple of tweaks and add captions. Took a while to add the captions because my video editor was messing up. Then it was time to take part in a live stream. Always have fun with that. After, I went back to captioning the video because I wanted to get it turned in by today. Spoke with my manager about a project I'll be working on for our internal Hackathon happening this week. Asked some questions so I would have a clearer view of the outcome. Pretty good day.
Personal : The final edit of the video is uploading. Got like 5 minutes left. I recorded the video in 5K, exported the footage in 4K. Looks pretty clean.
Going to work on the YouTube upload functionality of my side project. Didn't get a chance this weekend because of the radio show and recording/editing the video. Left the project trying to get a file uploaded to Firebase storage. See how far I get.
