Sunday : Put together the pieces I'll need to put the rails up on my van's roof. Did some post radio show work. I worked out a way in my side project that if the event is not online and happening in the real world, it will load a map and the corresponding library to show it. If it's online, then the map and the library won't be loaded. Pretty cool optimization. Also got a chance to participate in the speakers' dinner for CityJS. Had a really good time. It was in 2 parts to try and accommodate for all the speakers' locations. I attended both. Met some cool people doing amazing stuff. Ended the night with karaoke. haha Good times.
Professional : Got up super early so that I could attend CityJS. Saw a lot of great talks and met with a bunch of people that stopped by our virtual sponsor table. People from Africa, Europe, Asia and the US. Also got to see part of my team do the first live stream of a new show we'll be doing. Had a meeting with my manager. I did a lot of video watching and chats today. haha
Personal : Got some help from my father with putting the rails on my van's roof. Went pretty quick because I put together the pieces on Sunday. Also took measurements for the other pieces I need to order so I can get the solar panels up there. Good thing it was done quick because it started to rain right afterwards.
The conference was an all day affair. Looking forward to it again tomorrow. Super tired though. haha Now that I have the measurement of the cross beams for the rails and solar panels, I'll be placing the order for the hardware. After that, going to continue working on my side project. I want to get the event page worked out.
