Congratulations! I can tell you have put a lot of work into it!
Thank you Anita!
I finally published my new portfolio website after a couple of months of working on it 🎉
👉 stefanobartoletti.it
This is slick! I love the colors and just the smoothness of all the animations upon scroll. I especially dig how everything gets typed out letter by letter upon movement... it really shows off that smoothness! 😎
By the way, great tagline here:
Thanks 💚
Hey Stefano,
this is by far the best portfolio website I've seen so far. You did a really great job here!
Thanks 💚

Also, I don't know exactly how but I have over 5k followers, and that's kinda cool :D
Love to hear this, Paulo! Well deserved on the badges AND the followers.
As for the > 5k followers, I think I know how ya did it... you've been straight-up awesome! You're writing good posts, leaving thoughtful comments, and just treating folks with respect and kindness.
Just to say, it's been really nice having ya as part of our community! 🙌
Great stuff

Achieving everything in my To Do List. This includes:
I have momentum right now on my side and I plan on keeping it going.
Wooohooo! Sounds like a very accomplished and rewarding week. You're living life right, Gonçalo. 🤜💥🤛
I ended the week with a great interview for a new role. The company looks great, the people are super nice, and the work sounds very interesting. Looking forward to the final steps next week. 🙌
I'm a wee bit late at responding here, but this is awesome news Schalk! Major congrats on starting up the new gig and I hope it continues on in such a positive way. 🙌
Evaded writer's block and published a new post!
Understanding Technical Research Papers
Salika Dave ・ Apr 18
. . . and received a new badge from DEV for community wellness!
OOooo right on! This is good stuff, Salika. It's cool to really think about how we understand something... I'm assuming you're drilling into this because you're trying to think about how AI will similarly read and understand research papers to sum them up for us and act on that info in different ways right?
Thanks Michael!
Yes, that is something I was definitely thinking about! But it feels good because your thoughts here validate the need for this idea for improving the current performance of GPTs on research paper summarizations specifically. For example, when I used Humata or ChatGPT for instance, it is able to better extract details when given a smaller set of tokens versus and an entire five page whitepaper. Maybe if we used the three-pass approach in feeding information to GPT, would we get better results? Time to find out! 💫
Having a Road House movie night tonight 😄
Oh snap. I've been meaning to do that as well! Next week will be burgers and Road House.
I released my first video course on Udemy 💪🙈
My win is publishing a post here after a while - a couple of years. I have been through quite a lot since my last post, and publishing again has reminded me of my worth and the value of my experiences as a girly in tech. My fire is burning again
Awww yeah! Love hearing this, Stella. 🙌
Appreciate ya coming back around to DEV and sharing your knowledge with us. Checked out the post too and it seems like a helpful one!
Reading all of these wins is really ending my week on a high note! Congrats to everyone on their wins!:)
Haha, that's awesome to hear and I agree with ya! The positivity is catchy right?! 😀
So catchy!
That's great
I sent Chapter 5 of Data Science in .NET to the publisher, making me 1/3 of the way through drafting the book!
Couple that I am proud of
Firstly the cool "Beloved Comment" badge
And on thursday had my first event hosted on "AI shaping education" as part of my Analytic network community
My win is that I made a JavaScript library that I'm actually proud of. It's for registering swipe events and other touch events on elements. It's been a while since I feel like I've actually contributed something meaningful to open source software. So this feels good. Would love feedback.
npmjs.com/package/tocada
This week, I released a new little project — a minimalist new tab page — sky.morning.photos.
I've knocked out finally a bunch of tickets about creating some contentful migration entities and creating some serializers and transformers to consume the information from a proxy with a JSO API format response. Contentful tools in NodeJS is a wild beast since the documentation is not good and actually, the tools are not adapted to javascript 100% so it's common to apply some extra work to write good code.
Thanks, it feels great to write this in some place!
I've completed 3 new front-end coding challenges from @frontendmentor! 🎉

I found a minor error concerning an edge case in one of our rust CLI apps and despite mainly being a front-end dev, I could submit a PR with a fairly idiomatic solution within half an hour.
