What is a Gradient?
In computer graphics, a color gradient specifies a range of position-dependent colors, usually used to fill a region. For example, many window managers allow the screen background to be specified as a gradient. The colors produced by a gradient vary continuously with position, producing smooth color transitions. A color gradient is also known as a color ramp or a color progression. In assigning colors to a set of values, a gradient is a continuous colormap, a type of color scheme.
In nutshell, a gradient is the smooth transition of one or more shades in our canvas. Mostly, gradients are used to come up with visually appealing and soothing backgrounds. Compared to flat colors, a gradient color canvas is smoother and will highlight your content. It will also add more depth to your designs, making them memorable. Though, while working on gradients, make sure you there is a smooth transition of colors and try not to overdo it.

Wow. Amazing tool. I wish you also supported the "CMYK" format for colors.
Thanks, I will add.
Good job 👏👏👏
Useful color gradient tool 👌
Cool project, but let's be honest: Opening a new tab, navigating to
about:blankand pressing F12 is much more comfortable.
As a suggestion: it would be really cool if there was an option to add additional colours to the gradient, either spread evenly or with custom distances :D
Thanks, I didn’t understand, can you explain please?
All parts (:
I need this one :)
You can use 😬
Awesome guys. Congrats!
Great work 👍
Hey ✌ cool tool!
Have you seen this:
Their gradiants support 3 colors for example. Just as an idea for couple of next features.
Thanks 😊 Yep, I know this tool.
Funny that I found this article because I had just built a slightly more advanced version of it. Find it here: iamcodefoxx.github.io/CSS-Gradient...
...Why was this deleted?
Not sure why the author hid it, where you able to see the original message anyway?
Had to click on it and was confused because it's literally just another project that does the same except it's on github. I even checked the source of both projects in case you just stole their code, but it's clearly completely different.
Stole their code lol that's funny.
Thanks for Sharing.
Recently I worked on design tool to generate Mesh Gradients. Mesh Gradient
