I use
Cmd+k w
all the time to close every file. When I start working on a new task, I like to be able to quickly clear away all the other files I have open.Highlighting across multiple lines with the scroll wheel is probably my favorite shortcut. It spawns cursors in the same column across multiple lines. I don't run into use cases for it very often, but I love a good chance to use it.
I do not prefer
ctrl + w
because I accidentally close other application windows in the process. I manually close the specific windows with a mouse cursor.Ctrl + Shift +P
