2020 was an astonishing year for the world, economically, socially and also in the realms of tech. With all the happened in the world, I wish I had documented more, written more and learned more. No one could have predicted the events of last year but the social changes cause by the ongoing pandemic catapulted our collective reliance on technology driven by a need to engage with one another. There were more developments in tech, more to read and talk about.
This year of 2021, I have been fortunate enough to gain a new role as an Analyst programmer. In 2019 I could not have imagined coming this far as a self taught developer and my biggest regret is not documenting more of the journey learning to help myself and others. Whilst I am not very familiar with technical blogging or the DEV website itself, the goal for 2021 is write, document, code.
What are everyone else's goals? Anyone eager to get stuck in with Technical writing for 2021?

I started with technical writing way back in 2016 on Medium as a hobby of sorts. My main job until now has been that of a software developer, until I got into DevRel this October! So I'm going to be doing lots of technical writing in 2021! :D
My goals for 2021 is to start a newsletter, and write an e-book - where I teach developers how to write well, nogotiation tactics, building an impressive portfolio and more!
Awesome! following you on Medium, you've got some great articles I can't wait to get stuck into. Love the goals and I hope to see them come to fruition :)
Thanks, would love your comments and feedback on them! Following you back as well :)
I'm going to give technical blogging a shot this year too. Writing helps me stay focused.
that's true...
Hi,
Sound nice, wish you to achieve all your goal!
My goal are to continue my webcomic after several years of pause, finish to learn React.js and update finally my own very old websites.
Thanks! Your goals sound good, would love to read your webcomic once it's up :)
What's it about?
