  1. VS Code for editing,
  2. Hyper terminal + OhMyZsh,
  3. Endel for listening,
  4. Notion for notes & writing,
  5. Stylus chrome extension to allow custom CSS on any site, especially looking at PRs on GitHub

  4. DBeaver
  5. Spotify

Had to leave out some key ones like Terminal and Coffee Machine, but these 5 I use most frequently throughout the day

Assuming we are speaking about software tools;

Work:

  • Visual Studio or Visual Studio Code (depends what I'm doing)
  • Azure DevOps
  • Windows Terminal (and therein, PowerShell)
  • Whatever video conferencing solution is du jour
  • Microsoft Office (mainly Word, sometime Excel, Powerpoint under duress)

Not software, but essential for my sanity:

  • Noise Cancelling Headphones (Sony WH-1000XM3).

Pleasure:

  • Ableton Live
  • VCV Rack
  • Arturia V Collection (tied with NI Komplete, I guess).
  • Max for Live
  • Visual Studio Code

Not software, but essential for for everyone else's sanity:

  • Noise Cancelling Headphones.
