4. Creating your personal space

Click on start your space after naming your space πŸ˜…

Wait for some seconds for it to connect.

image.png

After your space has been connected, you should have something like this πŸ‘‡πŸΌ

Now you are a host of a whole space and can proceed to send invites to people to join your space as the hostπŸ’ƒ

By default, everyone joining your space are labeled a Listener because they do not have permission to speak on the space, while people who are given permission to speak by the host of the space are labeled a Speaker

5. Inviting People To your Twitter Space

You actually won't be creating a space for yourself alone, you will need people to talk with or people that will listen to you while sipping their coffee.

Below πŸ‘‡πŸΌ are guides on how to invite people to join your space.

** Click on the share icon (the last icon) πŸ‘‡πŸΌ**

Choose your preferred invite option πŸ‘‡πŸΌ

  1. You can choose to invite people directly from their Twitter Direct Message
  2. You can tweet the invitation link on your Twitter feed or
  3. You can copy and paste the link with a custom message to other platforms (Whatsapp, Facebook, or Instagram) that you might want to invite people from.

You will receive the same link when you are been invited to join a space, click the link, and boom you're in SPACE. πŸ‘©β€πŸš€

For now, all Spaces are public like Tweets, which means they can be accessed by anyone. They will automatically appear at the top of your Home timeline, where you see Fleets.

8. Reacting with an emoji

Since by default people joining your space are listeners without permission to talk and the maximum number of allowed speakers is 10, how do they react, or how do you confirm if you are carrying people along, and how do these people respond to what you're saying?

THEY CAN USE REACT πŸ˜‚

Honestly, they can use react, Twitter has an option to react with an emoji 😜, and to react with an emoji click on the heart with a plus icon (third icon) πŸ‘‡πŸΌ

Select from the available emojis provided by Twitter, there are only 5 available emojis at the time of writing this article, more can be provided later, who knows? πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ Jack!!!πŸ˜†

The emoji you reacted with, will appear on your profile picture and fade away in a few seconds as shown below πŸ‘‡πŸΌ, don't worry, you can drop more anytime.
