Hello everybody! I'm Dan and I have just begun studying web development at a university in Sweden where I also live. I'm currently working as a doctor but I've always been interested in computer programming and I read a lot by myself.
I decided this year to enroll in more "official" university studies and maybe make a new/additional carreer out of it :)
I've read some dev.to posts before and I could learn a lot from them so here I am!

Hello! I'm a junior dev looking for a job, preferably in the Seattle area, but I'm open to remote or relocating. I'd love to meet up with anyone else in the industry. I've travelled Central America a lot and can't wait to go back.

Metin Dikbaş

Hello everyone!

My name is Metin Dikbas. I am a software engineer. Currently, I am working as a Full Stack Developer in Republic of Turkey Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Services to maintain and develop Turkey’s Integrated Social Assistance System.

Other than development, I am also interested in other topics about computers like networking, security, active directory. Just to learn these topics, I built a small network in my home with modems, switches, vlans, computers, firewall and lots of cable ( Do not ask the cost of electricity :) ). I guess I find technology is so attractive. Currently, I am following Udemy courses to learn new technologies and best practices about developing microservices.

My dream is being an executive in a technology company. I believe I will achieve. I guess you all know, there is a saying 'Believing is half the battle'. The other half is just hardworking.

Last but not least, I am excited to be here to both share my thoughts and experiences and learn yours. I wish you all have a nice career path and happy life.

Best Regards,
Metin DIKBAS
