Welcome Thread - v178

The word "SUP" spelled out in all caps with purple lettering is sitting on a white background with a lily pad floating beneath it; it's not obvious but the lily pad is floating on a white liquid. Suddenly, a frog falls from above and lands on the lily pad, sending a ripple through the white liquid and causing the lily pad to drift. The pattern resets and repeats!

Welcome to DEV!

Dear, everyone. Hope you are doing well.
As a software developer, I have been worked as full stack and blockchain developer for over 4 years. I had already build many successful projects and maintain them. In recent days, I started learning AI. I am going to make post related AI here and share my work on Github ongoing. Hope to be with you on my AI journey.

To encourage me continue work, please follow me on :

I have always loved the articles on Dev and wanted to be a part of the community to help my fellow developers. But I was afraid that I didn't know enough to share my knowledge.

But then I read somewhere, that I should share my personal insights on anything, however simple.
Been trying to do the same🙌🙌

I am new to this community, and coding and would appreciate any knowledge you can share. Regardless of how simple. What is simple for one is hard for another.

Hey everyone. How's it going. Well I am a Computer Science Student with my major in Cloud Computing. There is nothing much to say tbh but i would like to share that two years have passed since I joined the university and still I am not proficient in any programming languages. All i have done is to explore and learn little bit of every other language and still trying to figure out what is best for me. I hope my next two years would be more meaningful😁😁.

Hello there!

I came here to satisfy my cravings for Tech news (more towards coding/programming).

Medium is good, but it is a bit generalistic (i.e. it covers more topics apart from just coding/programming, for e.g. - Science, Space, etc)

Dev.to has the word 'Dev' which is shortform of Developer, so I jumped here without browsing much.

Looking forward to discover more!

Hello everyone,

I am a software engineer that has been working in tech in many different ways, but found my love for software engineering & developing along the way. I don't have a traditional education in software engineering and am mostly self taught through courses online, passion projects, and from work. Right now, I am helping build/creating integrations for retail stores at work and on the side I am working on a integration/alert system for unusual activities in the stock market with some friends.

My goal here is to join a coding community to help me grow as an engineer, help people out, and possibly do some odd jobs here for some extra cash flow.

I do love to build cool stuff in code and setting up automation.

Hi dev.to community,

Wishing everyone good health and peace of mind.

I'm Be Hai ( B Hi :) ), from Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. I have just come across dev.to via Google search a few days ago. I like the website, I like dev.to community.

I have worked as a software dveloper for nearly 20 years. I have been off works for the last three ( 3 ) years. I have been a Delphi person during my working times. I'm making a break from Delphi, I'm moving into Python and NodeJs.

I'm writing posts to document my learning progress, and I hope to share my understandings with relevant communities too.

Thank you for this great website, and thank you for letting join. Best regards to everyone.

Hey y'all! 👋

Really hope y'all enjoy being a part of this fantastic community. 🙌

Quick tip: you can follow tags, community members, organizations, and podcasts which increases the chances of you seeing more of these things in your home feed when sorted to "Relevant"... you can also adjust the "weight" for any tags you're following so that you see more or less of a tag. Pro tip: Using a negative follow weight actually counts as an "anti-follow", so you can even use this method to ignore certain tags if you'd like.

Let me know if you have any questions about DEV features and I'll be happy to help!

For the matter, I'm working on a little Trello extension for Chrome. You can contribute here: github.com/Balastrong/trello-card-...
