To be clear, I do love some of the things that Web3 will likely bring. I believe web3 will be part of the future, but it won't be the future.

I do believe #latestagecaptialism is causing the cryptobros and the like to push it forward, but there's too much noise where it's leading to a lot of people being disappointed in this wave. On the bright side, it will expedite the first bust, after that we'll finally get more practical standards and the various implementations to be what they're championing.
