-- Check that it’s running:
sudo systemctl status docker

Docker Compose
-- Download docker compose v2.11.0
mkdir -p ~/.docker/cli-plugins/
curl -SL https://github.com/docker/compose/releases/download/v2.11.0/docker-compose-linux-x86_64 -o ~/.docker/cli-plugins/docker-compose
-- Permissions to docker compose:
chmod +x ~/.docker/cli-plugins/docker-compose
-- Verify the installation
docker compose version
Or newer project from:
sudo apt-get install docker-compose-plugin
-- If you prefer the old style, create an alias:
alias docker-compose='docker compose'
