Polkadot Prodigy Hackathon

LimeChain and Polkadot Prodigy are joining forces to bring an incredible opportunity for the Polkadot dev community - the Polkadot Prodigy Hackathon. We are excited to announce that registration for the event is now open!

Backed by a grant from the Web3 Foundation, the Polkadot Prodigy Hackathon is aimed at both aspiring and experienced Web3 engineers who are eager to learn more about Polkadot development and increase their expertise in the field while competing for a large prize pool of $58,000. Polkadot is one of the leading blockchain protocols and is designed to support Web3 development in a multichain ecosystem.

The main portion of the event - the coding phase - will be held entirely online from May 7 to May 26 and will feature a number of workshops covering Polkadot-related technical disciplines such as Rust and Substrate development. During that period, the participants will have the opportunity to be mentored by world class Web3 experts including key figures in prominent Polkadot-based projects.

Following the coding phase, an assessment period will be taking place from May 27 to June 2 to determine the top performers in the hackathon. The winners will be announced at a live closing event that will take place in the first half of June, in Sofia, Bulgaria.
