Choosing a tool stack when you are a remote worker

You might be wondering right away what I mean by a tool stack. It essentially denotes a set of tools that neatly integrate into one another.

Why do you need a tool stack?

Let me start with an example. Consider you are a heavy Gmail user - you use it for both personal and business purposes. Now, staying in the Google ecosystem like Google Docs, Sheets, Hangouts etc. has plenty of advantages.
