I am currently reading this, as others commented, through eloquentjavascript.net.

It is impeccably written, has a very thorough introduction for readers without a programming background and the examples and projects are quite interesting and complete.

In my opinion, it's a must read for any beginner dev. This book is making everything click for me.

I'm reading this very thoroughly at the moment. 🤗

I have a hard copy of book and it’s indeed quite comprehensive. For the visual learners like me, and due to the eloquent style in which the sample code analysis are written, get yourselves a set of color pencils to draw, highlight relationships between concepts, etc.

This book makes me feel like I have huge knowledge gaps

Thought of starting this or JavaScript: The Good Parts once after finishing YDKJS. Any suggestions on which one to start first?

FYI this great book is under Creative Commons attribution-noncommercial license and freely available on eloquentjavascript.net

Picked this up recently, looking forward to really getting into it!

Yep. My personal recommendation for people who want to learn JS

I read some parts of it sometime ago, it's pretty solid in my opinion. I also recommended it to some coworkers, they are enjoying it.
