6 YouTube Channels To Follow As A Jr. Web Developer

As a junior web developer in the industry, one of my biggest challenges was to find the right resources to use and learn. Besides as a beginner, you need to stay sharp and up-to-date and learn by watching live code examples.

And this is where YouTube comes into the game. YouTube is a video sharing service where users can watch, like, share, comment and upload their videos.

Apart from YouTube, there are online platforms that have courses which do the same thing and you can buy or watch and learn. The only negative in this - in my opinion - is that not everyone has the stamina to buy or watch a 35hrs course video that it may outdated in a few months.

Back to the topic, here is the list of the content creators who will help you learn and move your career to the next level.

1. Wes Bos

Wes Bos create tutorials that will improve your skills in web development. He also has a playlist named javascript 30 on which he built 30 different javascript projects.

You can check out the Wes Bos channel here.

2. freeCodeCamp

freeCodeCamp is an open-source community of people who learn to code and build projects for nonprofits. Awesome right? The channel has an enormous number of tutorials that take the shape of an online course due to the length of the videos. Every video has a different tutor and different perspective of coding.

You can check out the freeCodeCamp channel here.

3. Traversy Media

Traversy Media is one of my personal best YouTube channels. Brad Traversy - the owner - has tutorials that vary web development and programming. He uses the latest technologies including VueJs, Angular, NodeJS, ReactJs, Rails and more.

You can check out the Traversy Media channel here.

4. Programming with Mosh

Programming with Mosh provides you with tutorials that will help you become a better coder. His tutorials are fully loaded with both frontend and backend libraries and frameworks.

You can check out the Programming with Mosh channel here.

5. CodingTheSmartWay

CodingTheSmartWay is the right channel to learn full-stack web development. In other words, it provides you with tutorials on full-stack web development with a small mix of machine learning

You can check out the CodingTheSmartWay channel here.

And last but not least,

6. The Net Ninja

The Net Ninja has been around for 4 years but he accomplished to gain a great number of subscribers as his content is all about web development. He makes tutorials for NodeJs, ReactJS, VueJs, Firebase, MongoDB and more.

You can check out the The Net Ninja channel here.

Conclusion

Using YouTube as a mean of learning web development it can be a good choice for those who won't buy online courses as it is free and there are many channels that will help you to be a better coder.

Finally, if you have a YouTube channel that you want to share, drop the link in the comment section and I will check it out.
