As many of you already know, almost 3 years ago I founded a community called "Code Journeys".
At Code Journeys, we believed that learning to code is not just about mastering the technical skills but also about being part of a community that can support and inspire everyone along the way. We provided a platform where learners could connect with experienced developers and mentors who were willing to guide and support them in their journey.
The best part about Code Journeys is that it was accessible to everyone. We believed that everyone should have equal access to resources and opportunities to pursue a career in technology.
In the past 3 years, we have seen many success stories from our members. Some of them have landed their first job as a developer, while others have started their own projects and businesses. It's inspiring to see how our community has helped them achieve their goals and dreams.
As time has passed, the demands of managing the community have increased, and I find myself unable to devote as much attention to it as I would like.
Fortunately, my path crossed with Isabella and Tatjana, who together with Cristian created Codum, a **community of lifelong learners that shares the values and mission of Code Journeys **and that is built around an accountability platform for newbie techies.
Upon meeting them, I was immediately impressed by their boundless energy, unwavering enthusiasm, and positive attitudes.
That's why I am thrilled to announce that I myself have joined the Codum community and more importantly that the Code Journeys community and spirit will persist as part of Codum.
Codum is welcoming all Code Journeys members and fans and is providing an onboarding discount code as a token of our appreciation!
To share your code journey with an accountability partner and to get access to the community, make sure to use this code before May 7th: WelcomeCJ!
This will provide you with even more opportunities to collaborate, learn, and build amazing projects with like-minded individuals from all over the world.
I'm sure the Codum community will continue to provide the same high-quality resources and support that Code Journeys members have come to expect.
I look forward to seeing the incredible things that you will create together!
It has been a pleasure to serve you. Thank you.
And remember: coding is fun, sharing is caring, support is everything! :)
