For this week in hacktoberfest I worked on a react project. The task was fixing a bug inside their filter drop down menu where when a user selected a tag the content wasn't being filtered.
What did i do
The most difficult part of this project was getting back into react. I used it a lot for my capstone project however I haven't touched it since. The bug wasn't to bad i just needed to reformat how they were doing the filtering, I just simplified their logic and made it work better.
Whats next
My final pull request in hacktoberfest is going to be inside of telescope Seneca's own open source program.
