Working with Webhooks
PagerDuty webhooks allow you to configure PagerDuty to send signals to other services when an incident triggers, escalates, or resolves. You can send updates to chat channels, ticket queues, or other applications related to your incident response workflow.
If you’re new to webhooks, our friend Scott McAllister at ngrok has written a post on the ngrok blog about how to use ngrok when interacting with PagerDuty webhooks!
What’s Your Resolution?
Folks new to incident response aren’t always sure when to call an incident “resolved”, and the many possible definitions of “R” in MTTR can cause confusion. When does your team count an incident as resolved? Let us know in the comments on this post.
