the Ubuntu GNU/Linux GRUB BUG has resurfaced YET again !
it is completely unacceptable for a ONE CLICK system update to ask a regular user if they should install GRUB into /sda or /sda1 or both
APPLE understand this and thats why they forked BSD to make your life better - and i am sorry but GNU/LINUX remains unusable for everyday users

Ubuntu is not GNU/Linux! There are tons of distributions that you can pick and that have choosen different paths. That's the freedom about GNU/Linux.

PRO TIP choosing both is 'SAFEST' option wonder why they dont just do that for you INVISIBLY if it is SAFE to do so !
Thats the difference. Mac OSX is a dictature, you are forced things. Linux is freedom, your choice can be good or bad but you have the choice.
