The majority of developers(26.5%) are between the age of 25 to 29.
A Bachelor's degree is obtained by about 46.2% of developers.
26.2% of developers think that formal education is fairly important in development career.
11.8% of developers in the US is female
The most used web framework is jQuery(43.3%)
The most used database is MySQL(55.6%)
The most beloved platform for developing is Linux.
- Loved programming language: Rust(86.1%)
- Dreaded programming language: VBA(80.4%)
- Wanted programming language: Python(30%)
45.8% of developers use Windows as their primary OS.
Github is the most used (82.8%) collaboration tool
Perl developers get the highest salary per year($76k)
About 71% of developers are employed full-time. 12% are students
About 57.6% of developers are looking for a job indirectly
About 37% of developers learn a new technology every few months
