I would love to know. I've some here, and I've asked my self if I should copy them there too. I think both of places, maybe if they are really really basic, codenewbie could be better?

Tutorials can fit well on both communities, but if they have a beginner slant, then they definitely fit well on CodeNewbie. That said, I think beginner content also fits well on DEV.
Pretty much all content on CodeNewbie would fit just fine on DEV, but not necessarily all content on DEV, would fit on CodeNewbie. Know what I mean? The stuff that is more advanced here on DEV probs shouldn't end up on CodeNewbie!
