Hey everyone, so I've been working on my portfolio website using Flutter and this is the progress that I've made so far. What do you think? They're a few fixes that need to be done but it's most done aside from the database, any thoughts on it? I'll be glad to see what you think

That's a great start! Awesome job so far! 👏🏻 I have yet to dive in Flutter for web. Did some magic with Flutter in the past, though only on mobile.
Have you experienced any hiccups with Flutter for web thus far? I'd love to hear about your thoughts.
P.S.: lowkey happy to be an early Flutter adopter, hehe 😁
Thank you for your kind words!
As for hiccups I'd just have to say the differences in packages or lack of in some cases, everything is going smoothly for the most part it just takes some digging to find what you're looking for and seeing as though it's not widely used good tutorials are hard to find.
Aside from that, the learning curve with web isn't too far from mobile it's just a case of sizing and making the small tweaks.
I'd be happy to read about your flutter experiences if you decide to write about them😁
Oh, the struggle is real as ever!
That's great to hear! Definitely will get back at it and try it for myself! 👩🏻💻
hehehe, I just might 😊😅 Thanks for sharing your experience so far, I appreciate it! 🙇🏻♀️
Flutter 2 was just released with better desktop support so I think many more people will see this as a viable way for creating websites in the future. One codebase for mobile, web and desktop.
I hope so, it's a not that bad once you get used to the code. I hope they'll give it a fair chance :)
I have the same hopes. Too many React junkies out there (just kidding, in the end it is a matter of preference!)
Nice but why not not use html or react ?
Ah I haven't had much luck with html and I've never tried react, I use flutter daily for mobile apps and freelancing so I thought why not :)
Ooo nice nice
Great Job 🚀
