Yesterday, I went to a restaurant to a restaurant with a few friends of mine. And there I saw robots serving food to all the customers. Along with food, they also served water and other drinks. More than amazed but I was observing other people and how they were reacting.
This restaurant is the only restaurant in my city that uses robots to serve food. Here, I share my experience, the good things, and bad things:
Good Things:
*1) People hadn't seen this before:
*
The first thing I noticed was that most people were taking photos and videos of Robots serving food and posting them on their Instagram, and Facebook accounts. I think the restaurant owner does not need to market their business, people were doing the marketing.
*2) Robots made mistakes but no one cared
*
I set on the table no. 16 and I received an order from table no.23 as soon as we entered the restaurant. People knew that these people were doing something different and people were enjoying themselves instead of getting irritated from the delays.
3) Interesting
The design of this robot was really interesting. On a screen, the item name was displayed in the binary numbers. This isn't difficult at all. To convert binary to text and text to binary is pretty simple, a developer just needs to write a two-line code to convert binary to text just like this tool, https://www.aassheyfied.com/binary-to-text.
Kids found this Robot very interesting.
4) Programming of such a Robot isn't difficult at all
This machine was designed as an AI robot but it was not an AI robot. I assume that the developers set coordinates of each table number and the restaurant staff was manually updating co-ordinate into the robot before sending it to deliver food.
Is this an easy job?
This is an easy job and doable. Being the developer, all you need to do is just find a person having an experience in the hotel business and make him your partner. Being a developer, we can take care of this technical work.
What's your take on the same, do share!

Robots in restaurants, supermarkets, and malls are becoming a fairly normal sight here in Bangkok
Yep indeed but people living in small cities haven't seen this before.
