i found the amp docs in amp.dev, implemented one page using it, but i'm not sure if this is the right choice, this will be implemented in a customer ecommerce, he asked to put it because he saw this on the competitor's website. his online store is huge (he sells shoes, clotches and acessories). i need to know a reason to use it. why not just improve the mobile (responsive) site instead of use AMP?

All your traffic belongs to google
Users cannot opt out from bein tracked
AMP pages are much slower than equivalent done in standard technologies
