Why Dev.to Followers/Following Count isn't Visible?

The platform would get biased. People have a general tendency to read posts by authors who have high follower count.

In turn these posts will become one of the most read articles. But with current scenario the judgement is done based purely on the content and every one gets a kind of equal opportunity to express themselves.

I'm sure @thepracticaldev team will be along in a moment, but the general idea is to avoid the silly games of having more followers than someone else, and that distracting from the stated purpose of sharing useful developer discussions..

I love this way of thinking, I've a very decent amount of followers still I prefer the count not to be visible for all. We already see too much spam that point posts to other platforms (sometimes I even saw malicious links while moderating), imagine what will happen then.
