Installing Docker on Raspberry Pi 4

  1. Update repository and upgrade packages

    sudo apt-get update
    sudo apt-get upgrade
    
  2. Download installer from get.docker and install Docker

    curl -fsSL get.docker.com -o get-docker.sh && sh get-docker.sh
    

  3. Add "pi" user to Docker Group

    sudo usermod -aG docker pi
    
  4. Setup the Docker Repo

    nano /etc/apt/sources.list.d/docker.list
    

    Add this

    deb https://download.docker.com/linux/raspbian/ stretch stable
    
  5. Update repository and upgrade packages again

    sudo apt-get update
    sudo apt-get upgrade
