I am Josh Reighley. I do training and technical support for accounting software on the IBMi AS400 platform.

I have been learning Clojure for the last 3-4 years, and write a lot of tooling to make my job easier. When a customer calls rather than going through 7 or 8 troubleshooting steps, I build a web page that runs my whole troubleshooting tree concurrently and reports back with the highlighted results.

I originally learned Visual Basic (back in college in the late 90's), and had a fairly successful small business for a while selling my programs. I have always been able to pick up any language and accomplish what I needed to accomplish (usually hacks like I described above) but I was always very pleased to stop thinking about code when I was done. Clojure is the first language that I could not put down. The more I use it, the more I want to code.
