Artificial Intelligence(AI) technology has been improving every year. It’s an integral part of our daily life. Many apps and services that we use everyday have been created with AI. This is an interesting AI open-source project, called U-GAT_IT, which is an unsupervised Generative Attentional Networks with Adaptive Layer-Instance Normalization for Image-to-Image Translation (ICLR 2020).
Many people who love cartoons and animations use anime profile pictures for their social media and online community. When you use U_GAT_IT, you can get a classic Japanese-style anime face made from your selfies or pictures.
You can also try this on Ainize which is a serverless platform for open-source projects. So if you are interested in this project, you can simply run this and test your selfies without any infrastructures. Ainize offers you easy and free deployment with only one-click access from Github.
