Prove me wrong.
If you're poor how would you buy a house or even medicine for yourself.

Without oxygen you couldn’t survive long enough to live in that house or take that medicine... so is oxygen also the key to happiness?

I don't need to prove you wrong.

You and I have different values in life of how happiness and dreams are achieved.

I can just tell you that I came to United States with $47 19 years ago and I know what is it to be poor, without medicine and house.

There are two things I learned and can share with you.

You either can do something about it or not.. your choice.

shouldn't bait people into programming on the promise it'd make them rich. You're making it sound WAY too easy.
People should do what they love, they are passionate about and try to make a living off that. That's a dream that isn't achieved by many cough

They didn't achieve their dreams because they didn't work hard enough or they just gave up on the first heavy obstacle they faced.

There are so many ways to make many other than programming. I am writing from my point of view and from many other billionaires too.

The point is when you master a skill, you can ask for hundreds or thousands of dollars per hour

You assume to know what peoples dreams are, you can't know.
You assume to know why they fail, you also can't know.

A skill is easiest mastered if you do what you love, not doing what someone else did or said you should do. A mastered skill (whatever it may be) will likely lead you to success, which will likely lead to money.

But hey, that's just my non-billionaires point of view.

Click bait. I'm pretty sure you could only make money in your sleep as a freelancer if you are hired by a sleep research lab. Otherwise it's hard work and you have to be awake for it. And pretty much everything else mentioned here.

And come on, Alibaba is not a website that could be created by a full stack developer, it's a business that is tough to build. The website is a small part of it. It's like saying that Google is that small webpage with a search box on it any junior dev can build.

And I especially disagree with your statement, that money is a key to happiness. Some amount of money is needed to survive, a bit more for comfort, but beyond that it's not changing much for you and your life. There are lots and lots of very rich people who are miserable, depressed and not happy with their life. As many poor people are too.

I didn't say that you don't need hard work to achieve your goals.

So you're telling me that without money you can be happy.
How will you be able to take care of your beloved ones then.
