Hey guys, hope you are doing good, I built a slack app called scrapehoney to solve the following problems
1.I worked as an intern for a startup they were scraping data. I was using slack as an internal communication tool. they used to switch tabs between slack and the data scraper app, this takes lots of time and makes users uncomfortable.
- when we were scraping data we used to get lots of useless data along with data that we exactly need.
Using my slack app, user can scrape data from any website without coding all within slack
I spent 3 days building this slack app and $0 into it. This app runs on AWS lambda services. This app uses scapy and flask as a backend to scrape data.
The experience I gained building this app was awesome
